ABOUT MASTER PARK
Meet our Founder, Master J.K. PARK
Master Park started training taekwondo in Pusan, Korea from the age of 6. He has built his foundation in Korea and practiced in Japan, New Zealand and Australia.
He has taught taekwondo in various locations around the world, specialising in teaching youth. He constantly participates in competitions, both as an athlete and also a referee. He holds a World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) recognised International Referee Certificate (Class 3).
He has had the privilege of participating in 2 Olympic Games (namely Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012) in assisting the New Zealand National Olympic Team, led by Grand Master Jin Keun Oh -who is currently the Master Adviser of Dream Army Taekwondo.
For the past decade, Master Park has been employed by Mitsubishi Corporation, which is the largest trading and investment company in Japan.
However, Master Park has always had a passion for teaching and working with children. Through years of teaching experience, he has devised a new program in taekwondo for children and adolescents and has finished his highly respected corporate job to take on his dream and passion in martial arts in Melbourne.
Master Park is presently teaching at 8 different locations and has developed his own specialised program with children between the ages 4 to 18 – “Dream Army Taekwondo”.

"ALTHOUGH I CAN NOT TRAIN ALL OF MY STUDENTS TO BE OLYMPIC ATHLETES,
I SHALL EMPOWER EACH STUDENT TO BE THE MASTER OF THEIR OWN LIVES."
